Data Modeler
Requirements
- Candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, analysis, and mapping, particularly within the Banking domain
- Expertise in data modeling tools such as ERwin (or equivalent tools)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and normalization/denormalization strategies
- Experience in Banking domain or experience in implementing Banking domain industry standard models
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data models supporting business intelligence and analytics
- Develop and maintain data warehouses and data marts for performance and reliability
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and reverse engineering of existing systems to create optimized models
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models
- Ensure compliance with data governance, standards, and best practices
- Document data models and maintain metadata repositories
